What a time to be alive. Robots can not only replace human labor—they can also be programmed to help recruit and hire humans, too. But it turns out that robots aren’t as unbiased as one might think. To discuss the implications of robot recruitment for low-income workers and workers of color, Mike Madowitz, an economist at the Center for American Progress, joins TalkPoverty Radio. Next up, in anticipation of the Census Bureau poverty data to be released next week, CAP senior fellow Shawn Fremstad joins TalkPoverty Radio to discuss why the official poverty measure is too damn low.
