The US shipped out a huge number of jobs since the 1980s, ended actual welfare in the 1990s. What should we do about all those who are left out, with no means of providing for themselves? Politicians who lack the courage and wisdom to legitimately address this certainly won’t have the courage and wisdom to legitimately address international crises. And to my knowledge, no US politician/candidate can answer that question.
